To a new type of internet astronomy (&; physics) society (club) that, we hope Richard Feynman would have been happy with. Richard Feyman was a Nobel prize winning physicist, who had a strong dislike for the structures of societies (professional & amateur). To say the least, he was an enigmatic genius with a healthy disdain for conventional thought and prestige. As such, this is an open society with the goal of bringing together scientists (amateur/professional/enthusiast) & students interested in astronomy & physics with none of the limitations of other societies. So, there is no fee to join!A lot of work has been done behind the scenes. While work to connect the society to world class research being done under the Astronomy & Physics Institute (of which APiS is a part), we have begun to develop our education programs.
