Welcome

To a new type of internet astronomy (&; physics) society (club) that, we hope Richard Feynman would have been happy with. Richard Feyman was a Nobel prize winning physicist, who had a strong dislike for the structures of societies (professional & amateur). To say the least, he was an enigmatic genius with a healthy disdain for conventional thought and prestige. As such, this is an open society with the goal of bringing together scientists (amateur/professional/enthusiast) & students interested in astronomy & physics with none of the limitations of other societies. So, there is no fee to join!

A lot of work has been done behind the scenes. While work to connect the society to world class research being done under the Astronomy & Physics Institute (of which APiS is a part), we have begun to develop our education programs.
